CLV Shuttles and Parking

Morning Shuttle

A morning shuttle is provided for those students who live at Columbia Lake Village. The shuttle departs from the main parking lot at the CLV community centre and makes the following stops on campus:

  • B.C. Matthews Hall
  • Davis Centre
  • South Campus Hall
  • Needles Hall

The Shuttle runs on a continuous circuit (each run taking approximately 20 minutes). The shuttle runs Monday to Friday and starts at 7:50 am – 10:30 am and resumes from 4:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The shuttle does not run on Statutory and University holidays

Shuttle Dates

Fall 2009 - From September 13th, until December 22nd

Winter 2010 - From January 4th until April 5th.
Please note the shuttle does not run during reading week (February 15th – 19th).

The morning shuttle does not run during the spring term.

Please note:

  • The shuttle is only for UW register students
  • Children are not able to ride on the CLV shuttle
  • Drivers will not stop at unspecified locations to pick up students who have missed the bus

Parking

Effective August 17th, 2009 all residents of Columbia Lake Village must purchase parking passes through Parking Services. The Front Desk at Columbia Lake Village will no longer provide temporary or term passes.

You may either purchase your parking pass online, or visit Parking Services located in the Commissary Building on Ring Road, between Burt Matthews Hall and the General Services Complex.

In addition to showing your vehicle ownership and insurance, you will need to show proof of a Residence contract/agreement. Any of the following will be sufficient:
• Email confirmation of residence contract/tenancy agreement
• Print out of your room assignment
• Letter from Housing

Note: Approved boarders must bring a copy of the ‘approved boarder form’ available for pick up from UW Residences (Student Life Centre, Lower Level).
